I was born and raised in Crete, Illinois. I lived in Glastonbury, Connecticut for six years, and then moved to San Fernando, California to be married to Greg Pokorski and live happily ever after gardening and garden clubbing.

Southern California Garden Club - the oldest and largest garden club in the San Fernando Valley! Come visit our club anytime you are in the area - we meet at the Sepulveda Garden Center, 16633 Magnolia Blvd, Encino on the 3rd Tuesday of the month (September thru June) at 9:30 a.m. Look for me there - I'd never miss garden club!! It's the best day of the month!!

About Me

I am a native Nevadan born in Caliente, Nevada and raised in Pioche. My mother was a charter member of the Pioche Garden Club. I joined the Rose Garden Club under the sponsorship of Linnea Miller in 1975 and have been an active member ever since.

I am interested in....

I love Gardening of course. Believe it or not we can have a great vegetable garden in Las Vegas.

I love to be with my family. I have three children, Michael, Curtis and Maggie. And I have two beautiful grandsons, thanks to Michael and his wife Becky.

My husband is also a native Nevadan and we love our state. We still have a home in Pioche and love to go there as often as we can get away.

I belong to the Rose Garden Club one of the oldest garden clubs in Nevada. It was organized the year I was born - 1949. We meet every third Thursday at 11:00 a.m. except June, July and August. Please join us any time.

About Me

I joined the oldest garden club in the state of Arizona in 1998. The Washington garden club has been meeting @ the Valley Garden Center here in Phoenix sence the 1930`s.

I have been President, Vice President and Secretary, at present I`m Vice President.

I am a past Vice President of the AFGC and a Master Gardener.

I like to design with what I grow. My yard is a wieldlife play grownd, i grow lots of native plants in my frount yard. My back gardens are for flowers and vegetables of all sorts.

I`m retiered but still work with chalenged adults part time.
